Editorial standards
The PartyJunky Editorial Team writes every guide and ranking from our own event data and cited public sources. Rankings follow published methods, and commission never changes a ranking.
Who we are
PartyJunky has published party and event listings since 2003. In 2026 it relaunched as a live US event feed. Guides carry the byline "PartyJunky Editorial Team".
How we make guides
- Data first. Guides start from our hourly event data. See About our data.
- Cited sources. Facts from outside our data link to the source, with the date we read it.
- Our own words. We write every guide ourselves. We do not copy text from sellers, venues or other sites.
How rankings work
- Each ranking uses a published method with a name, a version number and numeric weights.
- We set the method before we collect the data. A change to the weights gets a new version number.
- Each ranking page shows its method under "How we rank", with a link to download the data. Current methods: PartyJunky Club Score, Seller census, Festival calendar.
Commission policy
- PartyJunky may earn a commission when you buy through some links.
- Rankings never depend on commission. The method does not use commission as an input.
- Pages that compare ticket sites show a "PartyJunky earns commission" column for each site.
- Each affiliate link has a visible "Paid link" label and the
rel="sponsored"attribute.
What we do not do
- No fake reviews.
- No invented numbers. When we have no data, the page says so.
- No paid placement inside a ranking. No venue, artist or ticket site can pay for a position.
Corrections and removal
- Email info@partyjunky.com with the link and what to change.
- We correct or remove event listings within 24 hours.
- When we correct a guide, we add a dated change note on the page.
Update cadence
- Event data refreshes every hour.
- We review each guide at least once a month.
- The "Updated" date changes only when we make a real edit. Rankings built from live data show the time of their data.
